Thursday's scrimmage with Amarillo in Shallowater was the first challenge for the 2015 Rebels. Lee has depth at the quarterback position, and a hungry defensive unit that has the ability to swarm the ball well.

Lee fans will get chance to take a first hand look at the Rebels this Friday at Grande Stadium. The season home opener has a 7:30 kickoff against Smithson Valley.

The annual Lee Rebel Football banquet will be held on Thursday, January 8 at 6:30 p.m. The evening will be hosted at the Midland Center.

This year's MHS-LEE affair resembled battles of past years... at least for the first two quarters of the game. Five unanswered second half Bulldog touchdowns left the Rebels on the short end of a 59-14 decision.

Season Ends With Loss To Bulldogs

MIDLAND - Friday night's season finale against Midland High ended not the way Lee seniors want to be remembered, especially against the cross town rival Bulldogs.  After trailing 24-14 at the half, the Rebels could only watch as MHS walked away from Grande Communications Stadium with a 59-14 statement.
